Answered in other thread, but for reference:

Your F700BT (or, really any aftermarket headunit) doesn't output a differential-balanced signal, so the bose amp sees half the audio signal as audio, and the other half as noise that needs to be canceled out.

Installing an aftermarket amp will correct this problem.

Hi all,

I'm trying to install aftermarket speakers and an amp with the stock bose headunit on a G35 coupe.

so far we have replaced the rear 6*9 speakers, the door woofers and tweeters. we left the stock speakers for the rear passengers in.

We installed the amp and got the ground, 12V and remote turnon wires installed and works like a charm. we were looking at the speaker wire pairs that come to the factory bose amp and took out 4 strands of 2 wire pairs.

1. Front Left
+
-
2. Front Right
+
-
3. Rear Left
+
-
3. Rear Right
+
-

We connected these wire pairs to the aftermarket amp.

now it's time to get the signal to the aftermarket amp but it has RCA plugs so we got 2 x 2channel LOCs.

to what wires do i connect the LOCs to give the aftermarket amp a signal?

I have a g35x with all my speaker wires hanging in my trunk when I bought the car. I hooked up a rockford fosgate 2 channel 400w amp, along with 2 kicker L's. Everything is hooked up to my stock deck. When I try and play a cd, the cd skips, but when the subs arent hooked up, the cd doesnt, what is causing the skipping and how can I fix it

On the speaker (high) side of the amp, see here for the wiring:

anyone hook subs up to the bose headunit and then put in an aftermarket deck with 2v preouts? how did they sound in comparison? am i wasting my time creating a low quality thump by putting in an LOC because its easier? ive got a KAC-9104D, 2 KFC-XW1022D in non ported box. im happy enough with the speakers in the bose system for now, but ive got a DDX512 also out of my old car, is the difference in sound quality worth the extra time, money and modifying a JDM double din to make it fit? 05 sedan w/ nav

IS installing a subwoofer the only way to get more sound out of my radio? meaning is there a regulator or something that is currently holding my radio back?

the stock radio has little to no output compared to an amp

get a decent 50watt per channel amp and a decent set of speakers.
You will notice a huge change in sound

What settings are "on"?

If you have HPF on, you won't get anything out of your sub.

so far i have run the power wire and connected it to the battery, made the ground to the back of the seat, sanded it down and screwed it in, bought a PAC LOC, twisted the soild wires together and connected to the white wire from the factory sub, twisted the stripped wires together and connected to the black wire from the factory sub, spliced my remote wire into the green n white stripe wire and connected to the amp, connected my RCA wires, and the sub to the amp. ive turned all the settings, gain, x-over, bass boost, ect. all the way up, and i get very little sound out of the sub, i know im getting something because i can feel the sub moving but barely, kinda like how the factory sub worked

what LOC did you buy? sounds complicated. Try another amp, or it could be you LOC.

I have the plug n play PAC AOEM1 the only wiring needed to be taped or messed with is the remote wire that comes out of my LOC. I have no use for it since I upgraded my HU.
