Audio presets resetting

I'm a new G owner (2005 G35x with Bose) and every time I start my car the audio presets have to be readjusted. The unit SHOWS the proper setting, but it sounds muffled until I adjust the settings. Example: I want my presets at Bass +4 and Treble +4. The audio sounds like its at Bass +2 and Treble +2. If I go to the Bass and go from +4 to +3 and back to +4 it sounds a lot better, same with the treble. I know I probably confused everyone, sorry. But anyone else have this problem?

Through playing around a bit more I've noticed that it's just the treble setting that seems to be resetting. Anyone know of anything like this happening or should I just suck it up and call the stealership?

Supposedly it's a 2005 problem. I brought my car in for some other warranty work, mentioned the problem and I don't think they had a clue what I was talking about. But I have heard of others getting their stereos replaced, and still having the same problem.
