1) I'm African so no modasukah i don dey speak english!
2) you push a button i cant explain the mechanics behind it but the dvd player eject the old disk! "i use a net book so lay off the cd drive"
3)i put the new update cd in and what do i get? nothing until it finally says disk error!
4)BUT i didnt want to know why, i wanted to know if i was preforming the update wrong...ex sometimes u need the E-brake down...all i wanted were instruction and well yours defiantly sux!
5) Im way to young to be disrespecting you the way i am now "even if your younger than me" im a better person than that so if i offend you "probably did" im sorry!
obviously you can see im not great at this "English" so if you still want to help me out; will you?!

 

You may want to retract this statement as well... most of the veteran posters around here put as much effort into answering a question as the effort put into asking it, myself included.

Your right i should have settled that in a pm. That was a personal issue "my English" but i hope i get my point across Mods are inforcers and ive read the house rules and flaming is a NO! especially if idk you even through a single thread! i know papa/g sedan/markus/tim and ect! who all helped and had a roast session on my "noob-ness" afterwards which was cool cus they were jk and i understood that! ITS LIKE A COP SPEEDING WITHOUT FLASHING HIS LIGHTS, he might have a good reason but it still pisses you off!


my problem is my update cd is not....updating im getting disc error on the nav screen.
*im DL 6.8 somehow* and am going burn the cd from there and try it?

 

If you're downloading from somewhere, any discussion on getting it to work needs to stay off these boards - notice all the deleted posts in this thread? Yeah, that's why.

Yeah, but you won't get help with any downloaded version from me. You might want to try the site you get/got it from.

 

i istalled the 6.8 disc.. but it has the wrong streets/city
do have to drive around to adjust it
or is automatic

 

just drive around a little the gps should pick you up!.....im not sure but try searching for something nearby.....it works with tom toms helps find your location a lot faster!
