I'm wondering if anyone has coughed up the $190 for the newest Navigation updates from Navteq?

I have a 2005 G35x and am really interested in feedback on Navteq Catalog # U0037-0070-BUN-6.7

Is there any chance it's worth the $190 bucks??

 

I think all these models/years use the same DVD set: U0037-0070-BUN-6.7

G35 2003-2005
M45 2003-2004
FX35 2003-2005
FX45 2003-2005
Q45 2002-2007
QX56 2004-2005

 

Does anyone know if there is a way to upgrade the 2005 G35 Navteq system to the 7.x series DVDs?

 

Yessss. I finally got a G35 6MT with Navi, Lakeshore slate! So it appears I have an older version of this NAV DVD. $190 ! seriously? Is anyone selling a 7.4 DVD? (for less) DVD doesn't have to be *NEW*
I live in phoenix AZ and the roads are always changing.

Looks like the newest maps for my year (2005 g35 sedan) is 6.8. $129 on their site.

 

6.8 did come out and its $129.00 from navteq

Beware Pfinder2005 is spamming the same thing over and over.

ok well i have a pretty darn guud question..."im not a girl either" .....HOW DO YOU INSTALL THIS FREAKIN THING! i have the cd and the dvd NOT PIRATED EITHER my friend just bought the disk and totalled his car hes parting it out......wants to sell me his Vortex for $400 anybody say thats guud?......ok 2 question sorry but cmon guys let all chill i look up 2 u all as an upcoming yung man! your cars are way better than mine and i have high expectations that ur attitudes will be too! How can you operate a computer if you don't know how to eject a disc.

 

Needs to be the same year for one.
Eject button - insert the software upgrade, let it install.
Eject button - insert the updated data DVD. Use as usual.
