Re: Custom Install

Got it done at Freemans Car Stereo in Charlotte, NC. They are the best around here. Paid $1800 for the KVT-911, $1800 for The Navi unit and $700 for the install. A little steep but you get what you pay for. The TV, DVD and Nav all work PERFECTLY. Also there are no squeaks, rattles orr anything else from the install. A CLASS INSTALLATION!!!!

Re: Custom Install

What is the model number to the Kenwood nav system? Is it linked directly to the DVD system? Can it play MP3s? Very nice and clean setup.

Re: Custom Install

The Nav is the Kenwood KNA-DV2100. The DVD/TV unit are actually in the KVT-911 receiver. The DVD in the Nav unit is only for the Nav DVD disc. No it doesn't play MP3's but you can add Sirius Sat. to it.

Freeman's Car Stereo
4821 South Blvd.
Charlotte, NC
704-521-9222

It took them 3 full days (probably because it was the first G they had done) The managers name is Kris and the installer was Carlos. Carlos said the next one he did would be a piece of cake.

Re: Custom Install

Yea it does. Even though I am using an FM modulator for the TV/DVD audio through the BOSE system, it still sounds great. I really like the touchscreen features of the Kenwood. I may have Sirius Sat. installed later as it is fully compatible with the receiver/monitor unit.

Re: Custom Install

No squeaks or rattles whatsoever. I've been putting it through its paces today just to see if I could make it squeak or rattle. Seems as tight as the day I bought it.
