factory deck as hub for system

factory deck as hub for system

is it possible to use the factory bose deck for my stereo needs!?!? i would like to add an amp n subs to my system...do i need to cut/splice a rear speaker or something? has this been covered in another thread? if so many someone could point me to it!?!? thanx!

Yes. I've done that with mine and am very happy with it.

You'll be taking the speaker-level signals coming from the stock head unit and running them into an amp or amps.
Everyone's doing it.
Join the gang.

I'm thrilled with my system, and I kept the stock HU.

Do you have the premium or standard sound system?

i would run them to a pre-amp EQ...then to your new amp...you'll hear a WORLD of difference.
The stock headunit has no EQ adjustments

On my pioneer HU, you will hear a HUGE difference between "Flat/Standard" mode and my custom-tuned EQ setting... you wont believe your ears.

well dang alrighty then!! well i found my subs and amp...not sure exactly which ones are them, but they can be found at this site

althought im using 2 12's and i think a 800W amp, here is the map for my box dimensions as well...er at least one box...

any suggestions for my EQ? any suggestions for my trunk setup?!?! i saw one system facing right into the rear of the vechile... does anyone on G35driver make boxes? i had a kick *** system in my last car, but i didnt carpet the box or anything, looked like sh*t
