Re: watch dvd's while driving

Does this kit fit the Sedan also? And do you think it will be cheaper in the near future?

you can get them cheaper from the classified ads in this forum.

It looks just about the same. I don't really see any differences!!! I'm gonna start searching for one.

Thanks for answering all these questions for this newbie!!!

no problem...

well if you want to order one, order quick because when the 05's come out who knows if they will still sell them, and also they are coming from japan, so it will take more than a month to receive, from the day you put the order in...

Re: watch dvd's while driving

i grounded the parking brake wire (solid green wire coming from my Pioneer headunit) by connecting it to my headunit's ground (black wires from harnesses), which is also grounded to the bolt behind the clock above the center console

Re: watch dvd's while driving

VERY simple, take the parking brake wire from the Eclipse (red and white wire) and ground it. Under the console there are various bolts you can use to get a good ground.

oh, and BTW if you dont ground that wire you will have to stop, use the parking brake to use the nav as well.

Re: watch dvd's while driving

I need your help. I just got my dvd switcher and i have a thick, reoccurring white line on most of the dvds that i put in there. What do you think might be the problem because the installers don't know. Is there a solution?

I believe this is the result of a poor ground. I think others have complained of this as well and this was the diagnosis. Try re-grounding and see what happens.

Re: watch dvd's while driving

Will doing this fix also allow me to program the stock navi while driving? Or is the only way around programming the nav while driving to attach the speed sensor wire to a toggle switch? This is a feature I definitely need.

I don't have the dvd player yet, but I will be adding one in the near future. These posts are great to read, and a huge help!
