I have the same question. I have the AVN 5435 installed in my G35 5AT. I took apart the underside of the steering wheel console and the side mounted piece covering the wires (which for me run in a group down and along the driver's side). I see a green wire that is sort of out on its own (others are in a bundle and taped together) and plugs into another purplish wire with some sort of little plastic bracket. Is this the wire to ground? Anybody with an AVN 5435 have a pic of which wire and how they grounded it? Should I cut the end off the green wire and expose the raw wire to ground to a screw?
