Activated XM but not working, Need Help

So when we bought the last year it had an Audiovox XM unit installed in the car but it wasn't activated. I finally paid for the subscription and activated it but Its not playing over the system. I know that the radio is working because it now displays the xm channel info when turned on which it didn't do before. I assume that Im supposed to press the SAT button to switch to it but when I do it just says No Sat and goes back to cd. I suck at electronics so I'll probably take it to a car audio place to have them fix it but Im just wondering if anyone knows what might be wrong?? I can only think that its just not hooked up to the back of the radio or something

It may play through the FM tuner and not through the back of the radio. Turn on the XM tuner and hit the seek button on the FM tuner and see if you can hear anything.

No worries. As long as you got it to work.
