?icarkits?

http://www.icarkits.com/product_info...oducts_id=3415

I know there are tons of posts about ipod connects, but I have not seen this one anywhere..

Anyone have in additional info on these kits?
The product sounds awesome and for a good price,
I am looking to buy it shortly.
Just wondering if anyone has any additional info on the product.
Thanks!

I've put them in a variety of cars and they work well for the most part.

i know no first hand info about the iKit for the G35 (PODNISV2).

BUT from reading the specs and looking at them, imo i would say it IS the USA Spec unit with a different name on it.

looks the same, same specs, same basic price, model number is basically the same, etc, etc. might as well by the USA Spec!

just FYI...don't think you're getting something special. i smell a "white label" USA Spec...plain and simple.

Well the icarkit displays the text on the radio face.
and the USA Spec does not?

That is an added bonus right there..

I also have a SAT button and not a CD CHNG button on my dash so this product is not compatible...

i would be highly concerned about this fine print statement:

"Does not work with Bose 6 CD radio."

wouldn't that pretty much rule most of us G35 and Bose owners out?

that statement is at the bottom of the page here:
http://www.icarkits.com/product_info...oducts_id=3351

but i think they might mean EXTERNAL changers - here's a link to the Neo's site (notice it says "External CD-Changer"):
http://www.neocaraudio.com/product_i...oducts_id=1064
or
http://www.neocaraudio.com/product_i...oducts_id=5090

looks like they have 2 models to choose from on their site - not sure the diff. ^

i'm very interested in seeing if this solution works and what the pros and cons turn out to be. would like to add it to my AUX comparison chart for sure.

if you get it, please keep me posted and let me know how it all works after install!

Anyone bought this product yet? Im thinking of buying one by the end of the week. I need to listen to my iPhone (ipod) in my car...I saw that statement too and emailed them about it..but the 2nd choice (other option) doesnt have that statement at the bottom. Not sure of the diff. b/w the two of them, but you guys hear any new news?
