Stock CD player skipping / Need IPOD connection help!!!

Hey guys,
So im completely tired of my stupid CD player skipping and sometimes not playing for minutes at a time. I was thinking about switching up so I can plug in my IPOD instead but Im not sure where to start, so I need some guidance.

First off, I have an 04 G35 coupe automatic with no navigation, no satellite radio, stock system. Where is the best place to buy the IPOD connection for the best price? How difficult is it to install (any how to guide?)? Anything I need to know besides this?

I know a lot of you have been having probs with the stock stereo system, anybody actually get it changed through warranty after 4 years? Thanks for your help guys!

i see you dont have sat radio option like i do but i went through ebay and got the pac-nis adapter. has 2 sets of rcas for dual inputs. on one input i put a regualr rca to male 3/16 headphone jack and on the other input, i bought an rca to ipod jack with a 12v wire so it can charge as i play it. i cut a hole in the bottom of my ashtray and expoxy'd the ipod jack in there so the ipod stands in front of my radios faceplate. if you want to see some pics, pm me and ill get them to you.

btw, the adapter was 65$ buy it now and the ipod cable was 10 bucks.
