HELP MEhhh!!!

What's up, N e ways I am a new owner of an 06 coupe and so far I am very happy with my purchase I won on @ an a manheim auction the sport package for 23$ with 20k miles. My thing is I replaced all the factory audio in the car. I got the Pionerr avic-f90bt head unit, which I had installed @ a audio place. Everything works fine except for the nav. When I pull up the map menu it shows my location and tracks me fine, but I cant program any routes or go into the settings for nav or the system. Both options are blacked out what's going on? Do I need to reset the system or what. My ipod and dvd works fine it's just the nav part.

no, Im not trying 2 use it while driving. I cant use it period, while in parked and the car is on. I called the audio place where I had it installed, which Im over 900 miles away from because I had to come back 2 base and he told me to check some light green wire going to my emergency break, which I have no knowledge in car wiring at all. So now Im stuck with basically an over priced Ipod player.

ok I haven't taken apart the automatic's shift assembly, but it can't be THAT different....
ok first thing you're prbably going to want to do is take off the shifter. there may be a silver piece or some sort of bottom piece that slides down - may take a bit of force just be careful. and there's likely a horseshoe clip holding the shifter on you may need to use some needle nose pliers to get it off. then the shifter should slide right up.
from there the rest of the console will snap upward. it's all clips (at least in my car it is but look for possible areas that could have screws). from there you should be able to track the wire back to the ebrake. IF that's where they went. you should ask them where they attached the ebrake wire to.

once you do that send me a PM and I'll tell you how to do the rest.
