So I just installed a Pioneer F90BT and I'm trying to install a rearview camera. I can't find the reverse wire in my 2004 X Sedan, I've tried to find the orange wire in the driver's side kick panel, but it doesn't seem to work. If anyone has a picture of the wire, that would be the greatest thing, otherwise I'm probably just going to run a wire to the trunk and go straight to the orange wire there...

 

I had the same problem with my 2004 g35x and here is why. I hooked up the supplied wire that came with the pioneer stereo to the orange wire in the series of wires the run along the drivers side and tested it. Nothing! I didn't realize that the pioneer wire has a relay or resistor on it so it prevented a full 12v signal. So I went all the way to the back or the car and hooked it up there. Try testing it first by by-passing that relay, put it in reverse it should light up with a 12v probe and then put it in park and it should go off. Some people say it is the purple wire????
