Has anyone seen their satellite radio read out "ANTENNA"? I've never activated my XM radio that came with my 05 G35 coupe, it used to flash my radio ID, etc. If i did want to activate it, not sure how to now. I've opened up the rear and unplugged/plugged in the antenna connectors to the radio unit in the trunk, still reads out "ANTENNA".

Has my unit gone bad?

I've done some searching, its a tough search since the display is reading out "antenna" and antenna is a common term when searching for SAT issues! so I apologize if this is a common issue.

 

sounds like your antenna is done.
likely the cord got pinched or pierced by something and it's grounding out... it's not the easiest thing to fix if you don't know what you're doing with solder.
