I have an escort passport x50 with Mikes Mount. I like the clean install, but the radar detector bounces all over the place. I have an 04 6mt non premium, therefore, I don't have the auto dimming rear view mirror. That means, I can't rest the mirror on top of the radar detector (the manual flip lever gets in the way). Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone else dealt with this problem. The issue stems from the way that the detector mounts. Is Mike on these forums? What are the chances of getting a custom mount made? I can't take it with the radar bouncing all over like it does.

I was going to do that but decided against it. Basically I would like to have an adjustable u shaped bracket at the bottom of the Mikes Mount. Overall, I think this would make the mount better. Maybe I'll try emailing Mike. I can spec out exactly what I am talking about. Anyone else want to give it a shot? I don't have access to any milling or fabrication tools.
