infinity basslink

im looking at getting a powered subwoofer and what i found was the infinity basslink.

im interested in the basslink 2.

i have a couple questions...

whats the difference between the two products. is it only the obvious part of the 200 to 250 watts?

what would be the best place and way to mount this standing up or laying down. and in the back corner of the trunk or up in front by the rear seat?

my guess i wouldnt need anything bigger than a 8g wire kit and a 60amp fuse should be enough for the setups.

thanks

I've seen them often in the corners behind wheel wells standing up. Never heard the v2, but the first version was a decent, cheap solution.

^^ so do you think it would be a noticible upgrade?? the only reason im going with the basslink is of the lightweight and small space and just want something to give off a define bass feel.

i know i can get something way better. i have a $1000 audiobahn amp in the basement that weighs about 50-60lbs and just adding some 12s would be the easiest way...but this is not the route i want to go with my G. thanks.

if you're just looking for a little lower end fill it will work. don't expect "mind blasting" bass.
