Steering Wheel Control Removal

Does anyone now if you can get to the steering wheel controls for the stereo by simply removing the cover. It's on real tight and I don't want to break it. Thanks to those who can help.

what are you trying to do?
you can get to them by taking off the surround but good luck trying to isolate what colour does what.
