Has anyone ever taken their BOSE HU to a repair shop? I remember reading that these units where made by Clarion, is that true? There are a lot of authorized Clarion repair shops and I was looking for anyone that had experience going this route.

 

from my experience it's cheaper to buy new than repair. and it's mainly the circuit boards that go first.
I've got an 04 bose headunit that was working fine when I took it out. make me a deal on it. Note that I'm in Ontario Canada. shipping may not be the greatest.
