HELP, my car electrical system has a mind of its own

So my entire climate control and stereo control is acting very strangely. I will have everything off and randomly the heat will come on at full blast and I can't do anything to shut it off, none of the buttons will work on the climate control nor the radio. the radio will still work from the steering wheel control when it does this but not the main controls.

it goes back to normal randomly. it has done this a few times already. any help would be much appreciated.

The face of the radio which includes the buttons and the display are a separate piece from the rest of the radio. I suspect the connection came lose or is wet.

This thread has pics so you can see how the front is it's own piece. https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...ontroller.html

you can just buy a new jdm controller look at riverside or grubbs infiniti. or you can just say screw it and buy a whole new deck and go with a metra kit or the full jdm kit with the a/c controller

The JDM controller is just the top half, the environmental controls, so you can add an aftermarket headunit. You can't do an aftermarket radio without the JDM Controller, because the enviro controls are built into the radio.

is this easy to swap out? you guys sure this is the problem? I'd hate to pay for a new one and do the work on it only to find out its not the real problem
