Elemetal Designs e9.65i with Orion HCCA 12.2 on pioneer avic F90BT

Just wondering what everyone thinks of this setup
2 sets of e9.65i comps (one set for front doors and another for the rear doors mounted as coax), ran off of a Crunch PZi900.4
1 Orion HCCA 12.2, ran off of a Power Acoustik 5500/1D
Custom box tuned to Orion vented box specs
Pioneer AVIC F90BT (hacked 2.0 firmware)

I'm not really a fan of eD. As for the Orion sub, is it the H2? I used to own 3. Only used one, got fried because of an idiot eBay seller selling me a messed up amp. Ordered another one on eBay and ended up getting 2 somehow for the price of 1, haha. It was a decent sub. Got fairly loud of 500w when I had it. Wasn't the "cleanest" sound, kinda sounded muddy, I dont think my enclosure was built properly. I had a shop do it back when I was a noob. Unless you're gettin that sub for a good deal I'd look for something else. But it is pretty decent.

The sub is not the H2, it is the HCCA line, the new HCCA line to be excat. I piked the sub up brand new (still in box) for $378. The e9.65i sets are much better than the 6500 set that they made. The 9.65 set has a cast basket on them.

Ouch, thats a steep price for the sub. For that amount you could have gotten something different and I'm sure better. I haven't heard the new HCCA's, but I highly doubt they are like the first HCCA. Those things were pure beasts.

The only thing that they did from the old HCCA line to the new line was update it is all. The sub is 2000 watts rms and has 4" of excursion. They basically beuitified it is all. Not as ugly of a sub anymore, and it is painted red now. Sounds just as good as the old line. I have heard them both while gone on business and there was no audible difference from the 2. The MSRP on them is right around $600, but I got it for $378; so I got a good deal on it. The voice coils are the same voice coils as are on the older line as well.

2000 watts RMS is alot of power to a sub constantly....You should buy a better amp for it.

ed comps are horrible..no midbass and their tweets are harsh as hell.

Your amp choices are also terrible.
