Powering my sub and misc stereo install questions

I've had some car stereo equipment sitting in my garage for a while collecting dust. Since I just got my G35 a few weeks ago, I though I may as well put the stuff to use. So, recently I decided to pick up a 4080 box for my sub. I currently have a Diamond Audio TDX 10" sub and an Arc Audio 900.1d amp. I am trying to figure out if I should look in to a different amp or if this one should be fine.
Sub specs

The amp is rated at...
1 x 350W @ 4 ohms
1 x 750W @ 2 ohms
1 x 900W @ 1 ohm

From what I have read, it is recommended to supply a sub with at least 70% of max RMS to get its full potential, so this would mean between 560-700watts minimum. Since my sub is a 2ohm DVC I would be looking at either running it at 4ohms and under power it or run at 1ohm. I guess I shoulda gotten the 4ohm dvc so I could run it at 2ohm. My main concerns are if 350w at 4ohm would be enough to power the sub or if running 1ohm on my amp would be pushing it too hard. Also, if there are any other consideration I should be looking in o let me know.

My next question is for an amp to run my front components. I was looking in to a JL 300/2, since I can easily find one and for pretty cheap used. I will be running Diamond Audio Hex components. Both the tweeters and woofer can handle 100w each. Any one have any recommendations on other amp. Im not looking to spend too much and dont mind going used either.

My last question is if should worry about power consumption running these two amps. Like if I should look in to getting a new battery or alternator, or should I be considering looking in to a cap?
