06 bluetooth "rattle" ?

** mods sorry for posting in the wrong section, please move this to the audio/electronics section ** thank you.

Hey guys,
my bluetooth in my car seems to be a bit odd, I never have the volume too high or low it's about normal, people can't really seem to hear me very well when I use it though, although I do talk normally and clearly.

my main concern as well is when they talk, it almost sounds like as if the speaker is blown (although when I play music, it does not happen tweeter/mid/lows/etc)

any clues? TIA.

The quality of the bluetooth vs the audio from radio/cd/etc seems to be worse for everyone I believe. Not sure if you are aware, but you can change the volume of the bluetooth when you go into bluetooth mode. In other words you control separate volume levels for each mode (cd/radio/bluetooth). If you are listening to the radio at volume 16 and a call comes in, it doesn't mean your call will be at volume 16, it will be at the volume you last had it set on for bluetooth, and if you are getting a very blown sound you might need to adjust the volume down. I noticed on mine going from a 20 to a 16 doesn't lose much sound but it clears up some distortion. I have the factory bose system on an 06 G so incase you are comparing.
This is a very easy thing so it probably isn't your issue but I thought I would point it out b/c I know I miss the easy stuff sometimes.

Yes, I did figure out that the volume is different between the radio and bluetooth, I never have either of them over volume setting 15..
I am just curious as to what it could be, I don't want to take the vehicle to the stealership unless if I absolutely cannot figure it out.

But thank you for your response!
