i dont think the updates change views and such, but more likely updates locations. you can purchase a new dvd at zenrin.

my mom has nav in her g35x 2004 so its too new for me to tell u about infiniti. I know that i live in a very new area north of houston that is constantly developing. It has tripled in size in the last 8-9 years that ive lived there and a lot of the streets were not on my mom's mercedes ml320's nav. Each year the cd's added more and more of the streets. So unless u live in an area like this... i doubt its really necissary to even get the new disks. Road addresses rarely change, and the only thing u really need to worry about is the new roads that pop up in your area
