I"m pretty sure you found the wire a long time ago. For anyone else looking for it. Just remove one screw from the door pin (my wire was green and black) and you will see the color of the wire needed.

YOu'll find its part of a huge thicket of wires running along the drivers door sill and up into the dash. I tapped in right before it enters a large white plastic right angle connector. Again this is the the largest loom of wires.
