Re: Diamond Audio?

I haven't use Diamond Audio... was looking into the Diamond Audio Amps.... It is one of the best on the market before I decided to go TRU....

I have seen reviews that their components are pretty good too....

Re: Diamond Audio?

I did a few installs for friends with Diamond Speakers (mostly sets of 6.5" Hex Components). They sounded good. Reasonably linear response and great midbass. Need some power though. I prefer A/D/S over Diamond, with Focal slightly above A/D/S. What type of music do you listen to? Your best bet is to audition speakers with a similar setup rather than asking opinions. This way you make sure you get something you enjoy.

Re: Diamond Audio?

Diamond audio has very good reputaion and it use to be very good. But ever since they moved their assembly/manufacturing to CHINA for cost cutting reaso( I suspect), I just can't really trust the product's integrity anymore further to justify the still high price tag.

Re: Diamond Audio?

Hi, the system I had in my Passat was basically all Diamond. A pair of D7 (104 and 152) amps, 6.5" Hexx's all around, and a pair of Mack Daddy (MD104's) 10's in the trunk. Great sound, reliable components, very spendy. Had to sell the amps though 'cause they won't fit into my next system for the G35. I have the 10's for sale is anyone is interested!
