Question ipod integration speaker balance?

Recently, I noticed my headunit will fade the music from one side of the car to the other, pending on my braking/acceleration. After doing some research, I found that this seems to be a pretty common problem with G35's. I also noticed that it only seems to affect the CD player function of the HU, in my car.

My questions is would the music balance problem happen if I installed the aftermarket ipod integration kit and played music thru the SAT function. The radio function currently seems unaffected and I'm wondering if the SAT function would be immune, as well.

If you have the ipod kit installed and also have the music balance problem with the CD player, please let me know if the problem also affects the ipod(SAT function). I don't want to waste my money on the ipod kit if this is going to be a continuing problem for all radio functions. I'd rather use this money to replace my HU with a Double Din unit.

Thanks,
Casey

i think i remember reading in the manual that the hu will try and keep the sound level reality the same depending on noise from accelerating and such (if you go faster the music gets louder) so that might be what you are experiencing

This is what I'm referring to. The audio level isn't increasing like you're suggesting, the balance is fading from the left speakers to the right, sometimes completely to one side and shutting of the other speakers.

i know of a few local 04-05 coupe owners with this problem also - only effects CD. they play their ipods through tape adapters with no fading. couldn't hurt to try a ipod kit - i bet it would be fine.
