I just got an '04 Coupe and for some reason the driver-side door speaker didn't work. After hours of testing I concluded that the wires coming from the amp did not work and must have been cut somewhere. I had to run new wires from the amp all the way to the door speaker but had to do a temporary rig until I figure out how the hell you run these wires through the grommet. Anybody?

 

Do a search for "molex".

 

Hehe, I attempted the molex, but my hands couldn't make it happen, but the little grommet below the molex obliged nicely.
