PAC ROEM-NIS2 vs METRA 70-7551 @ 5v Preout

I've been trying to decide which to get for a JVC AVX820. I'm gonna keep the bose amp/speakers for awhile.

On my350z, there's alot of discussion on the PAC ROEM-NIS2 whereas here the METRA 70-7551 is the harness of choice over here.

Assuming the proper preout of 5V, I'm not sure why anyone would want to go from HU high level out to PAC to Bose.. it would seem that would introduce even more noise, but it would seem that consensus is that it actually helps with low volume hiss.

Is everyone here mostly happy with the 70-7551 w/5V pre-out headunits? no noise or whine?

I'm in the car audio industry and anytime you can use the rca's instead of the high level outputs it's a good thing. Use the Metra harness and you'll be fine.
