Weird Issue with X930bt

Hi, new to the forums and G35's. Just got my 04 coupe with brembos about 2 weeks ago. Thanks to the guides and posts on this forum, I was able to install a DD headunit the right way, and it was very easy to do. Thanks guys!
Anyway, I have a weird issue that I was able to sort through, and another which may be related. After I hooked everything up using a PAC ROEM-NIS2, I had no sound coming out of any speakers. I found out my amps weren't lighting up, and I double checked that my grounds were correct and that my blue/white wires were connected securely. I worked around by connecting the amp lead from the PAC unit to the 12v and I had sound again. Must be a bad pin on the X930 or some setting I missed....
In addition, now I have sound from all 4 corners but not to my subwoofer. The amp lights up but I get no bass. I checked connections on both subs (10w3's wired for 8ohms) and they're all correct, but I still get nothing. I wonder if the HU needs to send the amp signal in order to put sound through the sub preouts. I know I can workaround this by tapping into the speaker wires for the rears, but I want control from the HU.
Any ideas?

It seems as if the first problem was due to a bad remote. Does your amp turn on when the car turns on and if the headunit is on? Or does it turn on when the car is on (seems like the second case)?
Also for number 2, Yes the HU needs to send a signal to the sub amp. How does the sub amp have signal now? You need to get a RCA cable and run it from the HU sub preout to the amp like you said. That will be much clearer than running it through the rear speaker wires.

ok so I figured out my issue, basically I wired the subs wrong inside the box, but I fixed that. As far as the amp, I stole the signal from the rear amp to turn on that one.
I think I may have gotten an open box item with the wrong harness because I don't have left side sound, the amp doesn't turn on using the correct wire (supposedly) and my harness has a yellow/black mute wire instead of the pink VSS wire. Anyone have a diagram of the actual X930bt harness?
