Im torn between the Viper 5901 and the Python 991.

I've read through the forum and got plenty of information on the Viper but cant find much information on the Python.

Plenty of info on one product = more usable info in case of troubleshooting = a product i'd be more likely to purchase.

Are you getting a killer deal on the Python?

I thought both were DEI products .. if so, what about the python do you like per the manufacterer's website ?

I had the Python 990 1 mile range for about a year and a half with add ons and I loved it

 

I want to suprise my husband with a remote start but I know nothing about cars or electronics. Im on Amazon and I am trying to choose between the Python 991 and Viper 5901. Is there anything I need to know before choosing? He has a dodge charger, is there anything I need to get in addition? Also his car already has an alarm installed, is it ok to get one of these even though he doesnt need the alarm, or should I buy one without the alarm? And would Bestbuy be a good place to get it installed? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
