Qs regarding component install

i have a set of infinity kappa component and i was wondering do i need an extra amp to power it? or i can just simply replace my front stock ones?

Bose runs at something like one ohm and only works with bose speakers. Other speakers will work, but will sound horrible. Get a separate amp.

yup, need a new amp.

Bose crap amp has 4 ohm impedence.....will degrade your sound with Kappas.

The Bose speakers have a 2 ohm impedance. Kappa's have a 4 ohm impedance, so they will work, but they will not sound as good, nor will they get as loud as the stock speakers. The amp will power any speaker, but was designed to run 2 ohm impedance speakers.
