Hey, so the car I am buying is an 03 with the last 6 of the vin ending in:
209821

Sedan VIN: 321894 & higher

Now if you see I have an EARLIER vin then what should be a pre-wired unit.

BUT


THe previous owner said the car has an SAT button - and when you press the sat button, it has SAT 1, and SAT 2...

he installed an ipod hookup in the back of the headunit and noted these 2 plugs (sat 1 / sat 2)


Does THIS in fact mean the car is prewired for xm?

Do all G35s have an SAT button or no?

Not all G35s have a SAT button. The early 03's did not.

A car can have a SAT button and fall below the 210827 VIN, which means you have to buy and install the sat cable. This is the case with the car you're looking at. My 03.5 sedan was not prewired but has the SAT button.

All 04 and up sedans and coupes come prewired for sat.
