I talked to a few audio guys on other forums and most people say you should aim the sub towards the rear. Any performance loss when shooting the sub from the side?

 

i've been getting a better bass hit with it facing to the side then when my bass tube was facing the rear. that's just me though.

You will not notice any diff between facing the subs to the rear vs. the side. Just al long as you don't face them to the front. You want to try to lengthen the bass wave. By facing forward you shorten the wave which equels loss in low frequency.

 

what is recommened sub for this? would a JL 10W6V2 fit and sound good with this?

 

W3 and W0 is the most popular. I am running a Rockford P3. The W6 sounds awsome in this enclosure.

 

Guys, what is the best amp for the money and location to put in this vehicle? I'm very interested in this and what is the best wiring for it? Thanks 4080 for a great product.
