Can you guys recommend some high quality songs to test out my speakers, i would prefer something new, with extremely high quality recording. I would prefer something upbeat like trance or dance type music with good low frequency to also test out my sub.

Michael Jackson - Scream (real cd version, not some downloaded mp3 crap)

Highs are awesome and the bass gets pretty nasty too.

problem is that if you don't know the song well you won't be able to tune to it... find a song that you know well and tune with that. I use a couple rock tracks - breaking benjamins, and stone sour, then I flip over to some outkast and ludacris, then I flip over to dancehall then back to some temptations. I listen to each song once, tune till that sounds good, then put them on shuffle and if they all sound good you've got an even tune. That's if you're going for generic all around music tuning. If you want a couple tracks in particular to sound good, tune to favour those tracks

Madonna - Like a Prayer

If you built a SQ+ setup, its a great track.
its not that new and you might not like the song, but it will quickly tear down your system if its junk.

If you dont have a good front stage with a solid midbass the beginning of the song will be lousy. The intro will make sure that your highs are not to pitchy and yet precise. It has a very punchy bass line, so if you have sloppy crossovers and sub enclosure, it will sound like crap as well.

but sounds like you just wanna see how much bass you have, then anything by Prodigy will be fine

another good song would have to be

Redman- Da Rockerwilder - for rap

Brand New - Okay I Believe You But My Tommy Gun Don't - for rock

typical indie white guy from Jersey here... you know how we do in "dirty jerze"
