Let me start by saying, I do know where the search feature is and have used it.

I want to add a sub to my G sedan. As the title says, I have the prem/tech/nav packages and for the most part, have been very satisfied with the system, but I miss the thump of a sub from my old car.

I want to find out what my options are to add a sub (and IPOD jack for that matter, but very secondary). I know there are kits on E-bay to add an IPOD to the Bose system, but they all say not with the nav package. I want to know if there are any available pre-outs, or if my only option would be to hack into the high-level outputs.

I don't have time to look for it now, but if you search, you'll find a thread about this from back in 2007 in Tech section. Quite a few members have added subs to their cars and so did I. Also, it'd be helpful if you had a copy of service manual as you'll have to tap in a PAC Audio SNI-35 SNI35 Adjustable Line Output Converter from your factory "Amp to Sub" wires. It was also helpful to look at some of the DIYs from the older G coupes as the wire connections were quite similar.

As for iPod, why can't you use the RCA output in the middle?

As far as the IPOD goes, it would be nice to be able to charge and use built-in controls.
