HELP! sold my stock HU and buyer says broken with "Error Fd0"

i replaced my 04 bose 6 cd changer head unit and sold it on ebay. person received it and then a week later filed a dispute saying its broken and that an error code "Error fd0" comes on. does anyone know of this? the HU was working perfectly before i removed it.

Many, many, many threads/posts/stories of this OEM headunit error.

Completely likely that it is on the up and up. Now, how you sold it to the person makes it dependent on who will get shafted in this scenario, but the fact that these headunits have a verified history of failure makes it likely the buyer is telling the truth.

tell him to take a digital pic of the Error message with a copy of the ebay auction printout to confirm that it's non-functional and it's not a pic he snagged from the net -- then refund him some $$$
