Unhappy How do I use MP3 Option on Bose?

I have the premium package and all that with the Bose system which I thought had MP3 capability?

I burnt a CD in MP3 format (from itunes just selected burn as MP3 and had about 600mb of songs on it) but when I put it in the changer it reads for a few seconds then it just switches back to disc one? I am assuming that means it can't read the format...

Am I missing the MP3 feature? Not burning it right or what?

I have an 03 by the way.

Thanks.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but from what I can remember, 03 cannot play MP3 files only 05 and later.

when I had my factory deck it played mp3 cds. I just burned them as data files though... try just burning in nero as a data disc.
I don't know about the 03's compatibility though

I think MP3 capability is 05+. I have an 04 with Bose, and no luck with MP3's.

the MP3 compatability came out for 2005 and up. that's one of the reasons I went with the 05 as opposed to the 04.

however, if you get the Jabra SP700, it can stream the MP3s from your phone via bluetooth to your car stereo. sound is great.

I have the 06 and I burn them as data CD's and it plays. My friend that has an 04 isn't able to play CD's that I play on mine.
