Sound Quality MEDIA PLAYER ???

Sound Quality MEDIA PLAYER ???

What Media Players have the best sound quality, that would work well in a G35. ?????

media player + sound quality is almost like microsoft works an oxymoron.
prolly the closest you'll get is ipod with a proper adapter, because the connections are all digital audio

With any media player you are most likely talking about playing mp3s and such, which is a compressed audio format. Mp3s take an audio source and reduce its size through compression. By doing this, you are stripping information from the source file and loosing quality. So like troy said, SQ media player is a bit of an oxymoron.

The best you can do would be to rip all your cds to .wav since they are not compressed, otherwise rip your cds at the highest quality bit rate possible. All, or most, of my mp3s are 320kbps. It makes a larger file size, but its the best quality you can get while keeping the size down.

How about players that use less compression formats like ( i think its called something like LOSSLESS and FLAC ) ???
