Car Alarm Options

Is there a car alarm upgrade that works with the factory?

Wanted something that did motion detection as well.

Sunday, I got my passenger window and rear quarter window broken by a dumb thief who couldn't break the glass enough to get inside and set off the alarm.

They'd still be able to break the glass, but probably not both windows next time. Hopefully somebody would see them as well as they left.

Thanks

Try the Viper 5901 alarm system. Installed it with a tilt sensor (Rims), Radar Field Sensor, and Back up battery. I also put two Street Glow.com alarm lights in the two corner pillars to show off my alarm. Bought everything off Amazon.com.

Also a 506t glass break sensor since it will pick up the frequency of breaking glass that a shock sensor will not. Where ever the radar sensor is mounted, most of the time under the arm rest, DO NOT pile tons of metal (change, pens) as it can affect the field. Also If you are buying the 5901, it might be prudent to get another cable to keep at work since it is a rechargable and my friends does eat alot of power. Just don't want to get caught with a weak battery if you forget to charge it at home.
