options for quieting my exhaust.

so I have been running res and muffler delete for about 4 months now and cops are starting to crack down on me. I love the way it sounds but not the tickets.

how can I make it quieter under 4grand but still have it scream at high rpm

the bank isant big so new catback isant an option. I also don't want to ruin the sound so I don't want to throw crappy mufflers on.

will resonaters help? or not enough?

Well if you can't afford a quality catback and cops are bugging you. Go back to stock or get a good resonator pipe and or mufffler. Really only option if you can't live without the sound you love so much.

If your local cops are already trippin on your current exhaust just make your new set up is much quieter otherwise they are still going to keep pulling you over. You'll spend money for nothing if they don't like your new set up.

Should get some whistle tips just to **** them off even more, and they're legal.

I truly never understood cops that do that. Especially when some choppers roll down the street setting off car alarms and ****.

OE exhaust doesn't sound bad, put the mufflers back on to keep the the man off your backside! Any aftermarket exhaust that you'd like will only draw more attention than you want and resonators won't quiet your exhaust enough. I've been where you are, you're on the "Lets pull him over again" list so you need to go quiet for a few months till you become ignored and try shifting at lower RPMs!

Go back to stock with some high flow cats. Or just stop revving at stop lights.
