I don't know what to do.... I'm willing to get rid of my spare to get the right box to fit.... I really like deep, accurate, hard hitting bass... What would produce the sound that I like a Sealed box or Portered??? Does anyone have experience with this???

go sealed. Many people state that you don't lose a lot of sound quality going ported with a w7 but you have to lose some. A 12w7 in a sealed box will give you all the bass you can handle. Don't worry about going ported.

That sub sounds best ported.. if you can afford to lose the trunk space... talk about a totally power hungry inneficient sub...

I must agree with narkotic, go ported. I have listened to this sub in both enclosures in many vehicles and ported allways sounded best. Granted you can make a ported box sound bad if it is not built correctly. If you can mimic the roll off of a sealed enclosure, but 3db louder then you will have a great sounding sub that will pound. Oh yea, it is really strong ported too.
