desperately in need of some help!!!?

Alright... Ive been a long time lurker but until now i havent had any problems!
I did search and found lots of things here but mine are slightly different. 2004 g sedan. bose stereo I basically have the auto ac radio not working problem. Now most people said that they can still hear the radio and can control the functions with the steering wheel controls, neither of which i can do. Secondly, my dash lights dont work... I get the warning lights [low windshield washer fluid etc} but there is no speedo backlight. Def makes it slightly more difficult to drive at night...
I couple days prior to this happening i installed a line out converter to add a sub. I spliced into the rear speaker wires behind the radio.

Sorry if i am asking a repeated question, just i seem to have a little bit different problem?
Any help is beyond appreciated.
Thanks
Josh

sounds to me like a blown fuse. go over your wiring make sure NONE of the wires are exposed.
