I am planning on replacing my Bose speakers as well. Could I get the 450/4 part of this deal as well? Would these work well with the MB Quart PCE216?

I don't what the heck some of those model numbers mean. But I do know I want to upgrade my stereo. You guys are getting me excited :-?
I current have the upgrade Bose in a 2003 6MT Coupe. But I want higher highs and deep lows without the crappy vibration that I hear some the ricers.
So is this what I need and is this better than going down to BestBuy's ; Circuit City etc?

 

ummmmm to answer your question in one word - YES.

JL is one of the top audio brands and these are unbelievable prices for these products. the sub model numbers...the number before the w is the size of the sub (ex. 10w3v2 means a 10" sub, the 3v2 isnt really all that important..JL sells w0, w3, w6, w7 - as you go up you obviously get more power, sound quality, and of course price tag)

for the amps, a 250.1 (or 250/1) means 250 watts on one channel. if it's something like a 300/4 it means that 300 watts can be put into 4 different channels (or speakers) or they can be bridged to get more power to less channels.

if you're looking to upgrade your audio, these are great prices and great subs/amps to do it with. do not buy anything from best buy or circuit city, they have a bunch of low-end crap that they sell to ricers cause they've blown too much money on their crappy exhausts already to afford decent audio.
