OMG... JL 250/1 w. 10W3V2
well so i just bought my JL 250/1 amp today for a great deal =) and i came home and couldn't wait to put it in. About 45 minutes later, I have my amp wired up and ready to go. I put in my 4080 box with jl 10w3v2 wired at 2 ohms and decide to play some tunes. I start up the engine and pop in a cd... at first i was a little disappointed... then i decide to tweak with the settings... input sensitivity etc... then i was speechless.. =O... i never thought 250 rms would be this amazing.. i will post pics up tomorrow.. btw.. can somone tell me why some songs there is no bass at all.. and some songs its pounds like a ****?...

Turn off the bass eq if you don't know how to tune it. I had this same problem and it took me awhile to figure this out hehe.

Glad to hear that it pounds. Yea, turn your bass eq down or off. The bass eq in the JL amps boost the frequency that you select. If you have boosted a frequency that the box/sub already hit good at then you will get too much bass. All the other frequecies will sound weaker.
