Navi funtions after changing HU???

Navi funtions after changing HU???
OK, I just got an 04 g35 coupe, and IM planning on installing my sound system which includes the Pioneer 4100DVD. I know about the oem metra adapter kit need, but will I lose my nav functions at all? Also what about my steering wheel functions? PLEASE HELP!
