has anyone tried fixing their OEM head units

I FOUND A FIX FOR ALL OF US THAT CANT LISTEN TO CDS BECAUSE THE LEFT SPEAKERS ALWAYS CUT OUT

W W W.shiftice.com/Maxima_02-03_Bose_6CD_Changer_Audio_repair.pdf (correct the beginning to make it work)

i know its a link to somewhere else but it really helped from the bottom of page 4 and on.

i searched every where else for about a week and found nothing

I tried this out and it works...bumps, hard braking, sharp turns, even smacking it to see if it would mess up. nothing. couldnt be happier

w w w .shiftice.com/bose_cutout_fix.html where i found it

alright

i had this thing torn ALL the way down and the DIY i found on nissan ice or something of that nature points to a ribbon failure. i saw no such ribbon.

I also tried doing a DIY ipod adapter through the cassette deck where you take the left and right channels out of there and connect a head phone cable to there.

i guess 04 bose i guess is alot different.

lemme tell you though. in the end you will have about 30 screws of various sizes laying around.

also i found out my HU is refurbished.
