Window Mod-DEI 530T in G Coupe

has anyone installed one of these in their cars or some elses g?

i heard it has problems because of he G's window cracking when u open and close the doors.

They arn't required and won't work.

You can raise and lower the windows with extended (-) pulses on the lock and unlock wires. The only catch here is you HAVE to go inside the doors to make the lock / unlock connections.

how is this accomplished using a dei alarm/remote start? i heard the 530t wont work because of the g's windows automatically cracking up and down when u open and close the door

The easiest way is to use AUX outputs programmed to validity and tie them to the lock and unlock wires. Another way that only uses one output instead of two would be to drive a relay off the dome light output and the split the output of the relay between the lock (pin 87A) and unlock (pin 87) wires. With this setup the AUX signal will generally raise the windows, but when you disarm the alarm the dome light output will turn on and the relay will energize and switch your AUX channel to your "window down" function.

Yes, with a pulse timer of some sort (you will have to purchase something).

Your alarm may have a "comfort closing" option, if it does you can just enable that and it will close the windows automatically on the G when you arm the system.
