A Weird thing happens to my sound system

I bought a used 03 G35 with the stock sound system in it, and all of a sudden i get a strange hissing as the rear speakers cut out, sometimes they come on but distorted and loud.

So I take it to a few places and then they all say thats its the amp or some other problem, non said the same thing but all quoted me at least 3 bills.

I call the dealer where i bought it to, and said take it to this Asian audio shop where he deals with. The guy doesn't speak much engrish, but goes right in, hears the speakers which were just hissing, then says ah. He then turns the volume to high and the whole system comes up just fine. He says the big rear speaker can stick and this releases it. I'm thinking awesome it's fixed, but this happens alot as I'm driving.

Then i remember my mechanic saying the battery is the old stock battery and it really doesn't hold a charge and that I should replace it.

So I bought a new battery, and will install it tonight.

What do you guys think?

our cars have this problem, to fix it, buy a new HU... haha but on mine, its the whole left side speaker that goes out, and a nice love tap to the side of the HU most of the time gets it back on...

So after installing the new battery, the problem persists, but is less prevalent, the stereo actually worked flawless on the way to work ~ 45 minutes

'03 Sedan. I lose all radio stations intermittently. CD player and tape deck still work. It is like I am losing the station signal, its starts fading in and out, but when it happens, all stations, AM and FM, are gone. Sometimes I get a loud "POP" and it will come back on loud. Sometimes it fades back in slowly. I don't think I ever had this problem before I got my windows tinted. Anyone else out there with my problem- and have tinted windows? Thoughts or solutions welcomed. Thanks.
