I havent had my car very long (04 coupe) but the one thing ive noticed is how much everyone hates the bose system, but i was impressed by it when i first bought it, and have continued to be impressed when comparing it to my parents/friends cars and my old car.

I am the third owner of the car, the guy i bought it from didnt do anything to the car, he didnt even know the clear corners on the car werent stock, but the first owner of the car put in an ipod connector and a sub (i still have the box but he took out the sub, left all the wiring). Now my question is, everything look stock as far as i can tell on the inside of the cabin, but the bose system is something ive never had a problem with. is there a chance the speakers are upgraded? And how would I be bale to tell?

 

take your door panel off

you can easily tell OEM speakers from aftermarket

 

ugh, im not confident in my ability to put anything back on, let alone try and take it off carefully

 

its really not to big of a job, you really dont need to remove the panel, you can sneak a look if you pull the panel enough

find a friend who may be able to help you
