I have mine mounted on my rear view mirror with mikes mount. It provides a clean look like its meant for the car. It also has a clear view through the rear windshield.

Just doesn't make any sense. Really 'that' scared of the po?

Note - if you're speeding and your have a radar detector that has laser detection - an alert (no matter where you have it mounted) will only tell you that you may have just gotten a ticket.

I use my radar with the knowledge that its not a ticket avoider

its a tool I use to help me see a bit further down the road.

The laser thing is true.

My escort 8500x50 has saved me.....more than 20 times. Not that I was speeding 10mph or over
Just a good warning to slow down and that its not a good time to pass.

I did get pulled over when I first got the radar.

I got a weak K band and just avoided it.

About 10 sec later there was a cop waiting for me.

He was using instant on and my radar picked up the signal from the guy in front of me he radared.

So basically anytime I get a K I slow down

Ka means I really need to slow down

uhhh... you do know that some people have remote displays right?

like the sensor/detector is actually in the front grill and rear window and the thing on their ashtray/cluster is just a display module?

+1 on the K and Ka band
those are th bands that the cops use

cop cars use K and Ka band usually
motorcycle cops use LASER

once a laser hits u and your speeding your done coz its instant. K and Ka band you still have a few seconds

i hardwired my v1, and have mine mounted about three inches from the headliner, to the right of my rearview. it's clean, does the job, but i dont have to see it in the middle of my windshield.

You can't get an early warning on laser... once the laser warning lights up, you've already been hit and they have your speed... so does this really matter?

My radar detector has saved me plenty of times. I mount it just above my dashboard and it picks up signals fine. I do alot of highway driving and here in florida its alot of straight roads...

A few examples of where it saved me...

was driving and there was a car a ways in front of me, i heard it go off so i slowed down and sure enough, there was a cop around the corner clocking people as they turned the corner.

On the highway the cops often clock people so there is a high chance that my radar detector will go off before they clock me. There have been many times that my radar detector will go off and sure enough, theres a cop sitting a little ways down the road.

It is not a "cop gps". Its there to warn you about speed traps. Simply put, its there to assist you.

Just another reason for a cop to look harder for an excuse to pull you over. All in all, they just draw unwanted attention.
Not always

Sometimes they save you from BS tickets.

Cop cant pull you over or give you a ticket for a radar.
So you having a radar give no advantages to the cop what so ever.

That's looks great, thank you for the purchase of Invisicord! That might make for a good picture in my installation gallery. If you shoot me a PM giving me the approval, I can add it to my gallery under the Nissan/Infiniti section for others to see.
